"Fantastic location. Great facilities and will be even better shortly with new tents under construction. Excellent meals and extremely friendly and helpful hosts. Take the food and day trip offerings- you won't regret it but stay at least 2 nights to really enjoy the location."

You will never leave the table hungry! Whilst she can offer beer at an extra cost, we tended to buy our own along with wine to drink at dinner. Again, you will need to inform Ingrid on the day if you require dinner later. There is no choice; me and my wife are both omnivores with no allergies or intollerances, and always liked what she prepared! Our lodge was spacious with a generous deck overlooking the beautiful gardens, and the sea in the background."

A small fridge in our lodge would have been a great bonus - however, we were free to use Ingrid's fridge. The shower was also a little on the dribbly side!

"Чудове місце для відпочинку сімʼєю. Дуже задоволені. Було дуже затишно і комфортно. Велика територія біля котеджа – є все необхідне для барбекю, альтанки і качелі для дітей. Відпочивали взимку, але в приміщенні було дуже тепло. Є санвузли у кожній спальні, що дуже зручно. Окреме спасибі пані Олі, адміністратору котеджа. Турбувалася про нас, щоб ми почувалися максимально комфортно. Плануємо повернутися сюди влітку 🙂"

Трошки замалий холодильник. Було б добре, щоб він був трохи більшим і мав трохи більшу морозильну камеру. Також не зайвими були б ще кілька кастрюль та великі миски.

"This place is magical. It is suited in the beautiful nature, when you wake up in the morning you only hear the birds singing. But the same time you are the city center in a few muinutes. I love the community style. You are allowed to use the drinks and snackbar anytime and on the base of trust you pay at the check out. I arrived from germany, and without any more costs, a late check in was possible. The owners were very nice and helped out with any questions. I definitly comming back and I warmly recommend this place!! ;-) Thank you."

Cold water shower (was fine for body but just cold for washing hair!), the vents in wall allowed a lot of smoke in which made me quite coughy but wasn’t a big issue

"I stayed at Little Garden House and found it to be a charming and comfortable place, especially suitable for cyclists or other travelers looking for a peaceful stop. The location was a bit tricky to find at first, but once there, everything went smoothly. The host was very friendly and welcoming. She gave a helpful introduction to the facilities, including the cabin itself, the kitchen, and the shower area. The small cabin was cozy and pleasant, and the kitchen and sauna/shower located in an old outbuilding were also perfectly adequate for my needs. Overall, a nice and practical accommodation option in a quiet setting."

"very good location uphill, very far from street noise. we enjoyed seaview and city lights at horizon, that fara we could see from the highest small house. we got some hammocks up there and were having fun next to the amazing nature whilst chilling on the balcony, thanks to guys who secured our stay"

Some of the appliances are tired and therefore unreliable and need updating . The internal phones dont work so if there is a problem you have to call the reception in a building down the hill on your cell which if you are from abroad is an expensive exercise.

"Staff went above and beyond to make our stay for my birthday a wonderful experience. Hotel was in the perfect location for ease of access to the train station and the town itself. Amenities were clean and room was spacious."

Overall the decor and energy of the hotel felt a bit dated but not a massive complaint that would stop me from booking again in the future as there was more positives to outweigh the aesthetic.

Arrived at 11.30am to some "surprises" from the night before & no beer in the restaurant - someone had a great night! Good for them! Cleaning was dealt with quickly & beer was eventually delivered. A one-off, I'm sure..
