The staff were friendly and helpful from the very first moment, always available without ever being intrusive. My room was bright, spacious, and very quiet — perfect for relaxing after a busy day. No shampoo available and i wasnt aware of same before booking else would have brought mine. Towels stayed wet and had to use same both for shower and pool. Amenities should be provided to allow for wet clothes and towels to dry, like a drying line in the bathroom.

"All was lovely, the food was particularly good and a pleasant surprise after some of the restaurants we had eaten at on our trip. The cottage was great, the linen very good, the swimming pool a great asset."

We would have liked to have been given sandwiches with the tea at 4pm. Slight disappointment!

"If you're visiting Malta this is an excellent place to stay. Sliema itself is a bustling harbour town with plenty bars, cafes, shops within ten minutes walk of hotel. Also within ten minutes walk is the harbour where you can book boat trips to Gozo and blue lagoon, and get a ferry to Valetta which takes ten minutes in itself (or around 8 euros in a Bolt) if you book a boat trip through Viator make sure this pickup point in Sliema is your closest one on Google maps. It'll be much more convenient. Facilities basic but clean and comfortable. Free bottled water at reception and coffee machine at reception. Some toilets aren't in the bedrooms but are very close and robes etc are provided. Would recommend."

Only thing is the busy road lots of noisy bikes so take some silicone ear plugs for at night if you're a sensitive sleeper. Although I slept okay most nights, and this will affect most hotels in the area.
