I did not like that there were no mats on the bedroom floor or kitchen. No dish soap, no hands soap, no paper towel or even a kitchen towel. I been to one air BNB and two hotels and only blue star provided nothing for their guests. I was shocked but it is what it is. I learnt so I know now what to expect should I book it against. All in all it was a great stay and a beautiful place.

The rooms come with a very quiet AC and a comfortable bed. The area is safe and a local store is less than 5 minutes walk away. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast of scrambled eggs with toast was just what I wanted. While they advertised a check-in and out time they are very flexible. Free Tea and coffee was supplied in the dining room."

The surroundings of the house are not really beautiful, but we stayed here as an overnight stop between Cotonou and the Tanéka villages.

The owner was so welcoming and shared the amazing story of how it was his great-great-grandfather who built it, such a cool piece of history. The guesthouse is conveniently located between the Ajloun Forest Reserve which is in hiking distance, and the old city of Ajloun with its magnificent castle.
