"Leon Hostel is located very close to the city center; it is very clean, intimate, and comfortable. You should know that access to the property is via a code, which you will receive through a message on Booking.com (the property does not use any other method of communication, which can be difficult if you don’t have constant internet access). If you don’t manage to get online in time (as was the case for me), you will be helped by a neighbor who knows the code for the lockbox where the keys are kept 😊 I absolutely recommend Leon Hostel!"

"It is a really great hostel, located in a very good quiet area close to the old town. The instructions were very clear, the hostel is new, clean and very cozy and good decorated. I was in low season and I eventually stayed 2 nights but didn't have any roommate, it is very accessible from the bus terminal with the Urban bus stop nearby, there is also a supermarket and a small shop really close. Overall it was a great idea to stay in the hostel. They also provide slippers and towels"

"I had a wonderful time at the hostel. The place was spotless. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a hostel or hotel that was this clean. Everything was clearly well cared for. I really appreciated that coffee, sugar, and water were provided. The bed was very comfortable, the sheets were perfectly clean, and the bathroom was also spotless. The owners also seem very nice, and good communication. The location is excellent: it’s very close to Mangalem, and I could easily walk to Berat Castle from there. There is also a large, convenient supermarket just three minutes away. I felt very comfortable during my stay and I would definitely recommend this hostel. Also I am a woman traveling solo, and I always felt safe and comfortable."

"Although the location of the hostel was a bit disappointing (I arrived at night so the street was dark and the location seemed far from the center), the facilities were great. Everything was thought out for the comfort of the guests. There was everything from toothpaste to water dispensers, shampoo to coffee and tea options. It was very well thought out that the sitting-resting area and the sleeping area were separate but in the same apartment. In this way, it is possible to hang out without going out and disturbing your roommates. The beds were comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. It was also a good idea to have keys in the closets. It was one of the best hostels I've stayed in🌸 I also want to thank. I had some problems the day I checked in to the hostel. When I contacted the hostel, the person in charge was very helpful. I thank him/her very much 🙏🏻🌸"
