"Perfect location, the view from the room was awesome too. A first row seat to the market. I could not have asked for a better location, you find yourself right by the Nostalgia tunnel and the below the castle. Not to mention the amazing restaurants, bars and cafés. Do not miss out on the bar right below your room. Geni makes the best Aperol Spritz & coffees ever! (Also, the room is quiet eventhough you're right above the busy pedestrian area. I was amazed!) The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was spotless! The interior was stunningly done and felt very authentic without being too much. Geni, the host is absolutely wonderful! He was super helpful and caring. He makes you feel so at home. You'd be doing yourself a disservice not choosing Grey Stone!"

"Awesome location, easy access to the castle and at the top of the old town. Having a parking space right at the front door was ideal as parking can be really difficult. The host Geni was fantastic. Will recommend to friends."

"Geni is an excellent host. We are so lucky to have him. He kindly offered to pick up service when we arrived Gjirokastra. When ww check out with 2 large luggags, he helped us to call the taxi to go the bus station. He is very very very helpful. The hotel is in a great location with restaurants and shops nearby, the stairs up to the Castle are right across from the room. Even the room is on the bustling area, but still quiet. I would love to visit Geni again."

"The bathroom was new, but the design meant, after a shower then whole bathroom floor was wet. Maybe a a dryer to wipe the floor clean would be beneficial. Also the hot water ran out after my partner had a shower. Not end of the world."

"The shower does not have a door and water splashes into the rest of the bathroom making the floor wet. We suggest adding a shower curtain or glass panel It would be more convenient if there was a bin near the fridge and a mirror near the bed, not only in the bathroom"

"Grey Stone is the accommodation in Gjirokastër that's worth every penny. It couldn't be better located, right in the center. Geni's friendliness and helpfulness. His bar is really cool for a drink. Thank you very much."

"Being in the heart of the center in the middle of the season comes with noises of people and cars until late at night. That was the only negative thing, but honestly it was very much expected, so it’s not a negative but more of something to be aware of."
